Alexander Nevsky
The troops of the Teutonic Order are advancing on the western borders of Rus'. They capture Pskov, torture and kill local residents. The knights divide up the still unconquered Russian lands in advance, assigning to themselves the titles of princes and hoping for the support of the Pope. At the veche, the people of Novgorod decide to gather a squad and call the experienced commander Prince Alexander, nicknamed Nevsky, to command it. Two heroes - Gavrila Aleksich and Vaska Buslaev - are wooing one girl, and she decides that she will choose the one who will show himself better in battle. Troops converge on the shores of frozen Lake Peipus. Before the battle, one warrior tells the prince a fable about a fox stuck in the fork of a tree, where a hare lured her. Alexander acts in a similar way: he builds his troops with pincers, while the “boar” of the Teutons advances right in the center.
