John Tulliver is a top-notch thief, able to penetrate the most sophisticated signaling systems. He is a serious guy and never makes mistakes, but even an old woman can make mistakes. One day the hero comes across a Van Gogh painting that is worth millions. But what promises big money sometimes turns into big trouble. Soon after, Tulliver's partner is kidnapped, and he learns that he has crossed paths with the mafia, who are hunting for a masterpiece. Exchange a painting for a hostage?
