Quantum of Solace

After Vesper's betrayal, 007 struggles with the urge to turn his latest mission into a personal vendetta. In search of the truth, Bond and M interrogate Mr. White, from whom they learn that the Organization that blackmailed Vesper is much more complex and dangerous than one might think. Mi6 forensic experts link Vesper to an anonymous bank account in Haiti. There, Bond accidentally meets the fighting girl Camille, who also wants revenge. Through Camille, Bond reaches out to Dominic Greene, a cruel businessman and not the last person in the Organization. After visiting Austria, Italy and South America, Bond learns of a joint plot between Greene and General Medrano to gain control of the world's oil reserves. Using the capabilities of the Organization and people loyal to him in the CIA and British intelligence, Greene promises the general to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, in exchange for a seemingly deserted plot of land. Bond enlists the help of old friends to establish the truth. The closer we get to identifying the person who pushed Vesper into betrayal, the more difficult it is for Bond to stay one step ahead of the CIA, terrorists and even M to uncover Green's evil plan and stop his Organization.
