Description

The protagonist of the film is Ernst Hoffmann, a young lawyer, musician, and writer who lives in two dimensions simultaneously: the imaginary world of his own works and the ordinary reality of a small German town. In the guise of his characters, Hoffmann is to experience the most amazing and perilous adventures, which may turn out to be more than just fantasies from his own tales.
